Re Decorate with an Upholstered Headboard
The other day my daughter called to ask me if I could go out shopping with her. She was thinking of buying an upholstered headboard. She was looking for a way to update the baby's room. I said "of course". I wanted to try my hand at helping her make the change from little guy to big brother's room. We hoped this would make the addition of a new baby easier. We decided to start with a new big boy bed and a neat upholstered headboard would be the start. We couldn't decide on the color for the upholstered headboard until she picked out the theme and the color scheme for his room. Did she want a sports theme or a nautical theme? What colors would he like, primary or secondary? As you can see, the choice of the upholstered headboard had suddenly become the secondary issue in the project. She finally decided on a theme that would carry through, with a few minor tweaks along the way, until he left for college.
